1. Data controller
Data controller: Nowa Estate, Warsaw, Poland. Contact: through the contact form on this website.
2. What we collect
Contact details you submit through our forms (name, email, phone, Telegram), your housing brief (budget, districts, move-in date, household size, status, pets, language), listing links you send for review, and landlord property details. We do not collect payment card data. For spam protection we store a one-way hashed form of your IP address for a short time; it cannot be reversed to your actual IP.
3. Why we process it
To respond to your enquiry and provide our rental-search service (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR — steps prior to entering a contract), to comply with legal and accounting obligations (Art. 6(1)(c)), and, where you opt in, to send occasional service updates (Art. 6(1)(a)).
4. Who we share it with
Landlords or their representatives, but only for properties you have asked us to pursue and only to the extent needed to arrange a viewing or lease. Also our hosting, email and messaging providers acting as processors. We never sell your data.
5. How long we keep it
Enquiry data: 12 months from last contact. Signed-contract records: as required by Polish tax and accounting law (currently 5 years). You can ask us to delete earlier where no legal obligation applies.
6. Your rights
Access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, and objection to processing. Send your request through the contact form on this website. You may also lodge a complaint with the Polish supervisory authority (Prezes UODO, ul. Stawki 2, Warsaw).
7. Cookies
We use only essential cookies required for the site to function. If analytics are added later, this section will list them and a consent banner will be introduced.
8. International transfers
Where a processor operates outside the EEA, transfers rely on the European Commission's standard contractual clauses.
